Between time and space | Ibiza

Ibiza, known as the magical island holds this name for a very particular reason. It’s the energy you feel when you are on the island. There is something so magical about the energy which truly can impact your life, if you are open to receiving the magic it has to offer, and if you are connected to your own energetic field. This all has a particular reason, and is because the island is located on lay lines which reinforce powerful energy at specific locations of the island. Read on to find out where.

Lay lines

Lay lines are electromagnetic paths (lines) within the energetic field surrounding the planet which connect sacred sites and specific locations around the world which are charged with high spiritual energy. Lay lines are a concept which were created in 1921 by Alfred Watkins expressing that there are electromagnetic paths which connect locations around the world. It is said when lay lines intersect, they hold high power which as a human allows you to access your spiritual abilities and powers at a next level. Locations around the world which have intersecting lay lines are the Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, Machu Pichu and Es Vedra to name a few. All these sites are known for their special energy which is felt on site.

Everything is energy, and the planet just like humans holds an energetic field around it, which is invisible to the eye, but can be felt. This is why when you are present at locations which pass through these lay lines you feel an energy about it, which can not be explained or described, but merely felt. And this is why you feel this “magical energy” in Ibiza, especially in Es Vedra!

Time and Space

Facing Es Vedra, at Can Soleil you can explore art installations which are known as the Ibizan Stonehenge called “Time and Space” created in 2014 by the sculptor Andrew Rogers and financially covered by the founder of Cirque du Soleil, Guy Liberté (who used to live in the Villa next to the installations, and hosted some legendary parties!). The Stones are made from basalt stone imported from Turkey and formed in a pattern representing the solar system, where the pillar in the middle is supposed to represent the sun, and those surrounding it, the planets turning around the sun. All pillars were put in place using the Fibonacci sequence creating a perfect harmony for the eye and one which simply “feels right” when standing around it. You will also see people trying to throw stones up onto the pillar to leave a mark and participate making it an evolutionary art installation.

Las puertas de Can Soleil - The doors to nowhere

A few meters next to the pillars you will find wooden doors, known as “las puertas de Can Soleil” also placed there by Andrew Rogers, holding beautiful patterns.

They are two large wooden doors facing the ocean, literally doors going into nowhere, inviting visitors to ponder upon infinity and ask themselves deeper questions opening doors to all possibilities. As a personal little side note, I’ll let you think about whether the doors are inviting you to go “nowhere”, or to go “now here”?

Sunsets at Es Vedra

The sunsets all around the south and west of the Island are truly spectacular! However, the sunsets viewed from looking at Es Vedra are turly magic on the enxt level! What I noticed the other day as I walked back to my car after watching the sunset there, was how beautiful it was to see so many people walking back to their cars which made me think of people leaving a concert from different directions heading back to their car. Because that’s how incredible the sunsets at Es Vedra are, they are truly a spectacle of nature which create feelings of magic and power within you.

The Island has such powerful energy it is said that it either repels you or invites you in, and this is so true! If you are meant to be on the island it will call you and it will make things work out so beautifully, it will seem hard to believe how incredible things align. Equally if you are not meant to be here, things will occur which will force you off the island. If you truly work with the energy of the island, you can also be called to go there for a certain time frame, to integrate, transform, heal, uplift, do whatever energy work you need to do and then use this new gained knowledge to head to another location, and then come back when the time call you again. Everything really is energy, and when we trust live, are connected with our higher self and feel into our gut what direction to take in life, you can really work with the energies of different location to enhance you life.

It is widespread knowledge that Ibiza, holds such high energy and this is only felt when you are on the island. If you are open and connected to this invisible force which we all have access to, you will experience so many magical moments, synchronicities and opportunities which seem out of this world! It’s all about going with the flow of the energy on this island and working together with it allowing it to truly create magic in your life.
