The day I joined Popeye’s Village | Malta
Popeye Village Malta was the film set of the musical production of Popeye the Movie in 1980 starring Robin Williams. Later on, it was transformed into an open air museum and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Malta!
Driving around Malta, I stumbled across this location completely by accident. I’m a true believer of “BE in the moment” and life will provide you with true gifts. Such as this experience. One of the richest moments of this trip to Malta, leaving me with so much joy and beauty in my heart for years to come. I was driving down a long road as I came across a true gem of this gorgeous country! From far away I spotted some colorful houses located in the cliff near the sea. The closer I approached with the car I realized this is something uniquely awesome!
It’s a time travel into another world, into the world of Popeye to be exact! You walk into the village and you are literally greeted by Popeye and his guests! The whole location is simply stunning and unbelievable! It is so beautiful it has to be experienced in person!

To visit Popeye Village is already reason enough to go to Malta. After visiting this village, it will forever leave a mark of bliss on you! This little Island is so rich in culture you will see so much more than you can even imagine. Go into the unknown and let yourself be surprised.
